Norma B. Petty
Norma B. Petty, 67, of Vernal, Utah passed away January 23, 2018 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born on June 26, 1950 in Delta, Utah to James M. Brady and Sara Owens. She married Arnold R. Petty on April 10, 1970 in Henderson, Nevada.
Norma loved playing softball, riding and taking care of horses. Her favorite past time was spending time with her family; she loved her family. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
She is survived by husband Arnold Petty of Vernal, Utah; sons Dennis (Sheleen) Petty of Lapoint, Utah and Matthew Petty of West Valley City, Utah, and daughter Sara (Jason) Allen of Vernal, Utah; grandchildren: Tyler (Kait) Petty of Vernal, Sami Petty, Mady Petty and Justin Petty of Lapoint, Utah; great-grandchildren Jax Roe and Tallon Grace Petty; brothers: James Brady, Douglas (Donna) Brady, and Daniel (Mindy) Brady; sisters: Jeanne (Steve) Alvarado and Adelle (Charlie) Cluff, and many nieces and nephews.
Norma was preceded in death by her father James M. Brady, mother Sara Owens Brady, daughter Michelle T. Petty, and sister Patty Imes.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Vernal 6th Ward LDS Chapel (850 West 100 North). A viewing for family and friends will be held Saturday 9:45-10:45AM at the chapel. Interment will be in the Rockpoint Cemetery under the direction of the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home.
