Floyd Charles Needles, 89 passed away on 01/16/2018 in SLC, UT. He was the widower of Rita Needles. They shared 58 Years together
Born in Colorado Springs, CO, he was the son of Charles Burton Needles and Bertha Wicox Needles. He served his Country during World War II in the Navy and was the Successful Owner of City Body Shop which he ran for 40 years in Vernal, UT.
He enjoyed spending time at his Cabin in Flaming Gorge, UT. where he enjoyed fishing & hunting and loved traveling. He will be remembered for being a devoted Dad, Grandfather & Great-grandfather. He was always the first one to help other people out and give unexpected surprises to those in need.
He is survived by Children- Christie Corbin (Steve Corbin) SLC, UT & Stacy Yeoman (Steve Yeoman) Bermuda Dunes, CA 10 Grandchildren & 11 Great-Grandchildren. He was predeceased by Parents, Two Sisters, Wife (Rita Needles) Son (Wade Needles) & Twin Granddaughters (Julie & Patsy Needles)
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 12Noon at the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home. A visitation will be held Saturday morning from 11:00-11:45AM at the mortuary. Interment will be in the Maeser Fairview Cemetery will military honors provided by American Legion Post 11. Services have been entrusted to the care of the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home.
