Dennis Dee Lamoreaux

Dennis Lamoreaux, 67, husband, father, grandfather, and dear friend to all, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2017 at home. He was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer 40 days earlier on Sept 6th.

Dennis grew up in Dugway, Utah where he met and married the love of his life, Debbie. In 1978 during the oil boom, Dennis and his family moved to Vernal where he began working for Dowell/Schlumberger which resulted in a career of over 30 years.

As an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, camping, Jeeping and shed hunting. All were better shared with his family. He was a loyal fan of the Utah Jazz and loved league bowling at Dinah Bowl.

Dennis is survived by his wife of 47 years, Debbie Lamoreaux, their children, Lisa Lamoreaux-Krmpotich, Jesse (Mollie) Lamoreaux, Lindsey (Robert) Loftis, and Laura (Ron) Bowden all of Vernal.

He has now been reunited with his loved ones: Jesse L. Lamoreaux (father), Cecil Lamoreaux (mother), JB Lamoreaux (brother).

A memorial service will be held at Stone Hollow Event Center, 1010 North Vernal Avenue, Vernal, UT on Monday, October 23 at 11:00 A.M. Interment at Rock Point Cemetery, Vernal, UT.

The family asks that you spend time with your children, take rides up in the mountain with your loved ones and make a toast to enduring friendships lifelong and beyond. That is what Dennis would wish.
