Chuck Pope
Chuck Pope passed away on October 8, 2017 in Vernal, Utah at the age of 68. Chuck was born December 15, 1948 to Herald and O’Rita Oaks Pope in Vernal, Utah. He married Connie Jene Singleton on November 1, 1971 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Chuck’s hobbies included fishing, hunting and wildlife photography. He loved laughing and spending time with his family. He was always a hard worker and a loving provider. One of his greatest joys was selling cars because he loved the people.
He is survived by wife Connie Singleton Pope; children: Cohl (Veronica) Pope and Char (Travis) Anderson; grandchildren: KayCee and Kylee Anderson; Isabelle, Nicholas, and Benjamin Pope; father Herold Pope; brothers: Bob (Julena) Pope, Bill (Marcy) Pope, John (Denise) Pope, and sister Connie Belcher Pope. Chuck is preceded in death by his mother O’Rita Oaks Pope; brothers: Jerry Pope and Michael Pope.
Chuck’s wishes were to be cremated. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the American Red Cross in memory of Chuck.
A casual celebration of life will be held Friday, October 13, 2017 at 7:30 P.M. at the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home (410 North 800 West).
