Lila H. Redding
Lila Redding passed away August 23, 2017 at the age of 76. She was born July 26, 1941 to Lile Hunting and Vera Oaks Hunting. She married Keith Redding July 12, 1959. Lila worked for Uintah School District as an Aid and Secretary in the schools. She later moved to the District Office where she retired.
She was happiest spending time with her grandkids and later with her great-grandbabies. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were truly the light of her life. She also loved to sew quilts, knit and later mastered the lost art of wool spinning.
Lila touched the lives of so many. She will be greatly missed.
Lila is survived by her husband Keith; children: Kathy (Bret) Massey, Sandy (Jack) Foley and Jim (Arvis) Redding; five grandchildren: Bill Massey, Jenny Massey, Maddi Redding, Cole Redding and Roger Foley; four great-grandchildren: Preston Massey, Ryker Massey, Brintlee Foley, Braxtyn Foley; brother Bob (Janice) Hunting.
She is preceded in death by granddaughter Misti Dawn Foley, parents, four sister-in-laws and three brother-in-laws.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 11AM at the Rock Point Cemetery. A visitation will be held Saturday morning 9:30-10:30AM at the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home.
