William “Bill” Glade Bodily

William “Bill” Glade Bodily, age 57 passed away on March 28, 2017 in Vernal, Utah. He was the third child born to Marion and Evelyn Bodily on February 6, 1960.
Bill spent his early years in Jensen and later moving to Vernal where he graduated from Uintah High School in 1978. He then married Sheli Walker on December 19, 1981 and they later divorced. He spent his life working as an Electrician for the Uintah County School District where he met some great friends and co-workers including Shawn Richins and Robert Keel.
Bill had an avid relationship with the great outdoors, from summer camping trips and motorcycle rides, to a brisk deer hunt in the fall, ice fishing at Steinaker and snowmobiling on the mountain in the winter. Most of these trips were spent with his children and brother, Mike Bodily.
When not enjoying the outdoors, Bill had a strong passion for his grandkids. They were the light of his life. They brought out a side that nobody knew existed. It didn’t matter if it was swinging in the backyard, playing trucks and trains or dolls and dress up he was always willing to play with them.
Bill is survived by his children, Devin (Markee) Bodily, Puyallup, WA, Melissa Bodily, Salt Lake City, UT, his Mother Evelyn Bodily, sister Linda Campbell, and two brothers, Robert (Shelly) Bodily and Mike Bodily all of Vernal, UT. Grandsons Tyzeke Bodily, Ryder Nelson and Kael Bodily and a very special Granddaughter, Shelbi Bodily. Four nieces, a nephew, and many aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his Dad, Marion Bodily and his grandparents.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at 11AM at the Ashley Valley Funeral Home (410 North 800 West). A viewing will be held Monday 6-8PM and Tuesday 10-10:45AM at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Maeser Fairview Cemetery under the direction of the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home.
