Lynne Searle Gale

After a courageous battle with cancer, Lynne Gale passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2016, age 52.

Lynne was born June 4, 1964 to Larry Raymond Searle and LuAnne Searle. She was married to her devoted husband Walter Gale in the Provo Temple on June 18, 1982.

Lynne served others. She embraced opportunities to serve her second family-her ward family, in the LDS Church. She enjoyed visiting friends and family, always finding time in her schedule to make others feel the love she had for them. She taught others to sew, quilt, cross stitch, and crochet. She tried to teach everyone to iron, a hobby of hers, and her greatest stress relief. She was a closet gamer, for a while her kids could not match her skills at Dr. Mario, Solitaire, Bejeweled and Sodoku. Christmas was her chance to find special gifts for all of her loved ones, making it one of her favorite times. She loved putting puzzles together with her parents and children while sharing memories and taking special care of them. She had a special bond with her parents and taking care of them was a sacred hobby in her life. Her brothers and sisters remember her as the peace maker and the only one who would never lose her temper. She wrote poetry as a hobby, and made her entire life a poem written for her Savior as an example of Christ-like love.

She is survived by her husband Wally; mother LuAnne Searle; sons John Gale, Alex Gale, Tim Gale (Lindsey); daughters Cassie Kinghorn (Scott), Tina Houghton (Cody), Hallie Gale; her 11 beloved grandchildren; and siblings Lori Golding, Lane, Lon, Larence, and Lance Searle.

She is preceded in death by her Father, Larry Searle, who is always watching over us, as we sense him always near.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 8, 2016 at the Uintah Stake Center (4080 South 2500 East) at 11AM. A viewing will be held Wednesday evening from 6-8PM at the Ashley Valley Funeral Home and Thursday 9:45~10:45AM at the Stake Center. Interment will be in the Maeser Fairview Cemetery under the direction of the Ashley Valley Funeral Home. Online condolences may be shared at www.AshleyValleyFuneralHome.com
