Ronald Loran Reynolds
"Our beloved Ronald Loran Reynolds was and is a gentle, kind man with strong faith and love of freedom and family.
Ron left this earth life on May 24, 2016, at age 68, having dealt with diabetes for decades. He was also a cancer survivor.
Ron was born to Bebe Delaine Pearson Reynolds and Lynn Loran Reynolds (Vernal's barber for 50 years) in Vernal, Utah, June 10, 1947.
Ron grew up in Vernal and loved this area's nature with fishing, hunting, and camping, especially in the Uinta Mountains.
Ron married Sandra Steele, and they were blessed with five awesome children: Andy, Bryan, Nate, Kyle and Jessica.
After that marriage ended, Ron married Marjorie Jones in 1985 in the Salt Lake City Temple, and they were blessed to have two awesome children, Jonathan and JoAnna.
Ron and Marjorie had a pleasant, peaceful marriage of 31 years. Ron loves his family, including grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ron was an active member in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as a missionary in New York and Canada, a Scout leader, teacher, and temple worker.
Ron wanted a business of his own and was a successful General Contractor in the Uintah Basin.
Ron was and is pleasant, creative, courageous, a good listener, a genuine soul.
Ronald Loran Reynolds will be missed and remembered.
Ron is survived by his wife, his former wife, his mother, his children Andy Reynolds (Tammy), Bryan Reynolds (Misty), Nate Reynolds (Alisa), Kyle Reynolds (Glenna), Jessica Reynolds, Jonathan Reynolds (Jessica), and JoAnna Reynolds, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his brothers Lynn and Mark Reynolds, and sisters Linda Preston, Gale Reynolds, and Emily Green.
Passing on before Ron has been his father, Loran Reynolds, his step-mother Ezma Reynolds, his sister Penny, and his brother, Randy Reynolds.
Funeral Services to honor and celebrate Ron's life will be conducted Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at 11AM at the Maeser 2nd Ward LDS Chapel (2575 North 1500 West). A viewing will be held on Monday evening from 6-8PM at the Ashley Valley Funeral Home and Tuesday 9:45~10:45AM at the chapel. Interment will be in the Dry Fork Cemetery with Military honors by the American Legion Post 11 and the Utah National Guard. Services are under the direction of the Ashley Valley Funeral Home.
