Virginia Granger Birch
Virginia Granger Birch passed away Friday, April 15th, 2016 in the comfort of her home with the loving care of her family, her sister Evelyn Strong and her caregivers Sami and Makenna Merkley (granddaughter and great granddaughter). Virginia was born August 7th, 1938 in Duchesne, Utah. She was the daughter of Wilford Denver and Wrennetta Hartle Granger. She was united in marriage to Udell A. Birch on August 14th, 1983, they were later sealed in the LDS Temple on November 25th, 1989. He preceded her in death August 27, 2014. They were married 31 loving years. Virginia received her Real Estate License from Spencer & Spencer Academy in Utah. She continued her career in this field for over 25 years receiving several awards in the million dollar club. She was active in the community and in her church. She enjoyed her family, friends, the mountains, quilting, sports, vacations, and was always young at heart. We all are blessed to have such a wonderful person in our lives. She will be truly missed by all. She is preceded in death by her husband, mother, father, and brother Duane Wilford Granger. She is survived by her children and spouses, Vicki Lee Price, Karen (Glen) Harmon, Terri (Gary) Dimick, Enette Long, Randy (Alena) Birch, Kalynn (Lloyd) Barton, Dave (Dena) Birch, 31 Grandchildren, and 43 great grandchildren. Mom we love you !!!
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at the Naples LDS Chapel (2313 South 1500 East) at 11AM. A viewing will be held on Tuesday evening from 6-8pm at the Ashley Valley Funeral Home and Wednesday 9:45-10:45AM at the chapel. Burial will be in the Roosevelt City Cemetery under the direction of the Ashley Valley Funeral Home.
