Alan Dale Walker
Dale Walker passed away on January 13, 2016. Dale was born on May 25, 1916 in Ft. Union, Utah to Everett and Dora Walker. He married Vona Mae Penfold on June 28, 1939.
Dale served in the U.S. Navy 1936-1940. During that time they searhed for Amelia Earhart.
Dale is survived by his wife of 76 years Vona Mae Walker, son Jim (LeeAnn) Walker, daughter Jean (Mike) Aiello, four grandchildren, six great grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 15, 2015 at the Ashley Valley Funeral Home (410 North 800 West) at 10:30AM. A viewing will be held on Friday from 10:00-10:30AM at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Lapoint Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the American Legion Post 11. Services are under the direction of the Ashley Valley Funeral Home.
